'Haven't You People Ever Heard Of (closing the goddamn door?!)' is apart of the first line in the chorus of the song 'I Write Sins Not Tragedies' by the American Rock band 'Panic! At the Disco'.

'I Write Sins Not Tragedies' was released February 27th, 2006, and is featured on the album
'A Fever You Can't Sweat Out' as Track #10

The bands guitarist and lead lyricist Ryan Ross stated that the meaning behind the song 'I Write Sins Not Tragedies' was that he had recently broken up with his then girlfriend, and wanted to convey in a song that it could have been a lot worse.

The lyrics 'Haven't You People Ever Heard Of (closing the goddamn door?!)' are in reference to an unfaithful bride, with no sense mannerism, whom is overtly cheating on the groomsman.
